The reason behind this trip was to use the Mileage Plus miles I accumulated over the years, and that was the reason I took the detour through Seoul’s Incheon International Airport with two airlines instead of taking direct flights to Osaka Kansai International Airport.

The refurbished departure hall of the Terminal 1 of Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.

The brand new check in counters in the departure hall.

The food area of Thai Airways’ business class lounge, operated by TransAsia Airways. TranAsia Airways’ own lounge actually offered better food.

The stationary offered to business class passengers of Thai Airways.

The hallway of the main terminal in Incheon International Airport.

Korean Air’s airliner with special livery promoting Korea.

Looking at sunset in the air.

The Korean beef dishes offered on Asiana Airlines’ business class.
