My sister came back from United States and we decided to take a family trip to Japan. After arrived Kobe via express bus from Kansai International Airport, we went to Kobe’s Chinatown for some refreshments before heading to the port of Kobe.

Our flight was serviced by EVA Airway’s special livery Boeing 777.

The European style court of the hotel we stayed.

The Chinatown was already crowed in the afternoon of an ordinary weekday.

A Chinese pavilion at a square inside the Chinatown.

We had to wait in a line to enter the restaurant for these steamed buns.

The old American consulate was now a restaurant.

A modern glass building was fused on top of the old western building.

The memorials where the great Hanshin earthquake left its mark at the port of Kobe.

The wireframe structures of the Kobe Port Tower and the Kobe Maritime Museum.

The experimental high speed boats displayed outside of Maritime Museum.

We had the pricey Kobe beef steaks for dinner.

The anchor shaped lighting decoration on a hill near Kobe city.
