It should be EVA Air's Hello Kitty Jet ver. 1 that serves the Taipei/Fukuoka daily flights. But because of scheduled maintenance, the flight we took to Fukuoka on February 28th was changed to use ordinary Airbus A330. However, the Hello Kitty themed service is carried over to this flight, and to our surprise, due to overbooking of economy class, we were upgraded to business class. Below are photos I took on this flight:

I know Kitty Jets have exclusive Kitty luggage tags, but I was surprised by the exclusive airport lounge invitation.

The headrest of business class seats.

Personal LCD is extended in business class, but the Kitty themed welcome video remains the same.

The exclusive menu and beverage list in Hello Kitty design.

The antipasto of the western style meal for business class. One of the cucumber was branded with Kitty.

If I didn't know better, I would think that the cheese cake was there to support the Kitty cookie.

On our flight back to Taipei, the airplane was changed back to Hello Kitty Jet ver. 1. On the other hand, we didn't get upgraded this time. Below are photos I took on this flight:

The Kitty boarding pass issued at Fukuoka airport uses older design.

Jet bridges always connected to the port side of commercial airplanes, so it's rare to see all the designs on the left side of Kitty Jet.

It's the year of rat, and the headsets of economy class also have Kitty in rat costume.

Kitty shaped dessert and kamaboko were served on the meal for economy class.

Salt, pepper, and sugar bags and paper cup all have Kitty on them.

I wonder if Kitty lovers would give in and use this roll of toilet paper.

Back to Taipei Taoyuan airport, this Happy Chinese Year sign was hanged in front of EVA air's transit counter.
