The purpose of this trip was to take my mother to Japan for a short trip. Due to health reasons, it’s been some time since she last travelled. We were going to Kanazawa and Shirakawa-go. EVA Airways offered direct flights to Komatsu airport, which was one-hour bus ride from the city center of Kanazawa. These were afternoon flights, so it’s already passed 8 pm when we finally checked into hotel.

In additional to traditional books, the “reading boarding gate” of Terminal 2 also provided many electronic reading devices.

The FedEx cargo plane flew below us over Japan.

My dinner was microwave food from Japanese convenient store.
