We bought the one day passes of the Okinawa City Monorail so we could visit places near the monorail stations in Naha city.

Using two-car trains, the Okinawa City Monorail was a low capacity system, especially since the trains ran at every 10 minutes on Sunday.

We stopped at the Naha Airport to visit its domestic terminal. Unlike its international counterpart, the domestic terminal was much busier with far more passengers, flights, stores, and restaurants.

Our next stop was the Asato station. We went to the Yachimun-dori (pottery street) to visit the traditional pottery workshops – some of them were still doing business in old wooden houses.

A truck of black cat express parked on the Yachimun-dori, presumably picking up packages from the workshops.

We walked to the Kokusai-dori from Yachimun-dori, where we saw recording for a variety show taking place on the street.

My lunch was the port shank hand-made noodles set.

After lunch, we went to the DFS Galleria duty free store near the Omoromachi station for window shopping.

We also went to a nearby super market, where I found these high-tech LCD price tags that could be updated wirelessly.

And finally we went to the City Hall station for people watching before heading for the airport for our return flight.

Our trip concluded at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
