Just came back from National Theatre for the 20th Anniversary Production of Performance Workshop’s Secret Love in Peach Blossom Land. This was the fourth production of this Chinese classic theatre, excluding the 1992 movie adaptation, which will always be the ultimate Peach Blossom Land in my mind, and this time, the premium Taiwanese Opera Troupe Ming Hua Yuan was invited to play the comedy half of the classic, and their different style (and language) highlighted the conflicts that made this play such a classic.

I just bought a new mobile phone, and I was toying with it before I went into the theatre.

This is the arch that opens up to the plaza of Chang Kai-Suk Memorial Hall.

A small concert was about to start in front of CKS Memorial Hall.

The National Concert Hall is on the other side of the plaza, facing the National Theatre.
